Grosse Pointe Community Concert Band
The Grosse Pointe Community Concert Band is an all-volunteer organization under the auspices of the Grosse Pointe Public Schools. A small fee is paid by each musician to the school system to cover costs.
All musicians are welcome. Music selected is at the senior high and college band level. We currently have high school students through 70+ seniors and a great mix of male/female and cultural diversity.
The Musical Director is Mr. Carl Stone, a long-time public school music educator.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7:30 until 9:00 during the school year at Brownell Middle School Band Room, 260 Chalfonte Rd, Grosse Pointe Farms Michigan. Come sit in and try us out. No need to call; you are welcome.
The season concluded with a successful concert.
Join us when school starts in the fall.
